My daugher is 18 month and has about three more days before she turns 19 months. I wanted her potty trained by 18 months but I haven'tbeen consistent with the potty training. When I sit her on the potty I use the "potty" myself to try to demonstrate to her what she's supposed to be doing. Then, I would clap so she would know it's a good thing. However, this doesn't work, all she does is get off the potty, squat, and pees on the bathroom floor lol. Her father kneeled down in front of her a few times while she was on the potty and he pretended to be using the bathroom and eventually she passed gas, which was a good sign that she grasped the concept. Two female rabbits and the one is always angry?

Finger foods for toddlers?

My son is 14 months old, and would rather eat finger foods versus using a spoon and having someone help feed him. But his father and I are stumped as to what new foods to try with him that he can pick up and eat on his own. A little information on my boy: He's got four teeth (two front bottom, and two front top), but he does extremely well with chewing up his food when it is cut into reasonable sized pieces. We have given him things like chicken nuggets, hot dogs, french toast, scrambled eggs, a variety of the gerber snack foods, and he's even eaten taco meat with a little cheese and lettuce mixed in (although I think he wore more than he ate!). I've been dating my boyfriend for a few months and i always knew he was a christian, I just never knew how faithful he was to his religion. Although at first I understood the need to handle the situation cautiously seeing as the most minute changes can have lasting implications for my son, I grow more and more concerned that the longer this goes on and we don't say anything, the more likely it is he'll find out and then he will not only have "lost" his grandfather but he will also have lost trust in the person he trusts most in the world - his grandmother. What should I do? Should I give my mother a timeline? Should I just let the situation progress naturally? Am I right to feel as though they are lying to my son because of the fact that my stepfather makes it a point to be there when my son is there? I have started potty training with my 17 month old. She started showing signs that she is somewhat ready for it so I figured what the heck I'm gonna have to get a potty one day anyway so we will try it and if she's not ready then we will have it for when she is. I'm not a pusher either : ] I think my daughter learns easier at her own pace with out bribes and material rewards every time she "goes". I take her in to sit on the potty at regular times through out the day. If she uses it I tell her "good job!" I let her wipe with reg. toilet paper and after I dump it all in the toilet she gets to flush. If she doesn't use it or wont sit on it for very long I tell her "we tried" and we leave the bathroom. I also go in there with her if she tell's me she has to go. I dress her in clothes that are easy to work with. Like a dress with just a pull up under it or a shirt with a pull up on & no pants. Just stay laid back and let her learn at her own pace. Help her learn all the words she needs to like "pee pee or poo poo" and potty. If she has an accident take her in the bathroom and let her know that its okay but but big girls use the potty and clean her up in there so she associates it with the bathroom. I don't use a fancy potty myself, I got her a pink one from Wal-Mart that has a soft seat on it but that's it. I saw a cute one that looked like a real toilet I wanted but it cost too much. Good luck the worst thing that could happen is she's not ready, but its never to early to have her start learning and trying!

im working on my project camaro right now..just wanted to know what you guys thought of it..It is a 355 sbc with a 6-71 wieand blower. Forged eagle crankshaft and connecting rods. The camshaft is made by comp, it is a thumper with a .500 lift at 365 duration. The pistons are made by JR and there .030 over bore dished. 7:1 compression ratio which is ideal for a blown engine. I still have not boughten heads for it yet. Anyone have any sugestions. The combustion chamber has to be over 72 because I am running 6 inch connecting rods. My pistons are cut so they wont hit the valves.

I was watching a little bit of cartoons on Nick Jr today just to see how cartoons have evolved over time since I was a kid growing up in the 90s watching shows like Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Cat Dog, etc, and the cartoons now days suck. There was this show, with a goofy looking robot on it I was watching today, and I think It's called Yo Gabba Gabba. Anyways, the actors that played the characters were just shouting and sounded like they were being sarcastic, and the way the show was made, made it seemed like when the actors were talking, it was like they were talking to someone who has trouble hearing or acting like the person watching the show was deaf, the way the actors shouted out what they were acting. Do you get what I'm saying ! The vibe I get from the actors on cartoons now days seems like they hate what they are doing, and they act like they are drug addicts or something. It seems like the show is geared towards teaching kids how to be sarcastic and an A$$hole, and just seems fake, compared to the shows when I was a kid with good lessons, and plots that are actually worth watching.

well, lets start here. my baby girl thumper had marshmellow cream on her, (she was not fed marshmellow cream. she is fed fresh fruits, mostly veggies, water, rabbit seeds, and hay). i decided to give her a bath because i wouldnt want her licking that off. i have given her a bath before : she loves being brushed and groomed, and bathed in warm water. out of nowhere, she made a screaming noise for a good 10 seconds and i darn near cried. it was terrible, and i have found the cause. she now has trouble opening her left eye. i assume either she hit/scratched her eye, or more likely we got soap in it. i rinsed it as thorough as possible for a bunny, put some ice on it for a while, and cleaned it with contact solution. we havnt had much progress yet, but she has been opening it a little more.also went to the store and bought higher grade vegetables and increased her food intake because she is very pissed off at me. im hoping shes better in the morning. any suggestions? even if its just for her comfort.
