Quantization of Electric Charge and Quarks?

I was studying about Quantization of Electric charge where it said q = ne. That is, Charge is always an itegral multiple of e (charge of an electron). Then what about quarks? The charge of an up-quark is 2/3 e and down-quark is 1/3 e.
