No drivers found when re-installing windows vista operating system?

I had to ren-install the operating system on my windows computer with the cd. I need to install windows again on a driver but no drivers come up. I have called dell but the warranty is up and I am trying to avoid paying 60 dollars for help from dell. So how do I reinstall the operating system and get around the part about the computer not detecting the drivers? Thanks
