Why is homosexuality the only sin people seem to care about?

Of all of the sins in the Bible, why is it that homosexuality is the only one we ever hear about lately? I feel like the Bible thumpers preach that sin so much, that even murder is being overshadowed. Of all of the sins for them to pick and choose, why homosexuality? Aren't all sins supposed to be equal in God's eyes? Aren't there a lot of other sins out there that should be given equal time?
