How do you feel about spolied children?

I guess to everyone else I spoil my baby since he was born. He's 1 now and to others I destroyed him every being independent lol bt what would you do if: he had heart surgery at 2 1/2 mnths so I held him ALL the time and didn't like when he cried even though the doctor said he was ok. I rocked him to sleep every night and still do sometimes. He follows me everywhere I go and if I start walkin towatds the door he will have a fit and run to the door so I take him with me bt my husband said to leave him and he will be fine but I know he will cry the whole time I'm gone. But he does play alone or roam the house like he's not always by my side it's just a certain times. But I feel everything I'm doing is fine because I read at a certain age boys will "turn" on their moms and dad will be the one he always wants I'm fine with that so I'm just trying to get my time lol how do you feel about "spoiled" children? What do you consider "spolied"? Are your child/ren spolied?
