What is so Wrong about gay marriage?

I just don't understand what the problem is. Most of the time, the bible is brought into it. The bible thumpers get all in a tizzy because "god" doesn't approve. What does that have to do with the law? Religion and Government are supposed to be held totally separate, so why does the religious argument even come in? How does letting a gay couple get married affect YOUR life? How is it going to hurt you? I've never gotten a logical answer from someone. Granted that may be because the argument is not logical. What’s the big freakin deal?!?! I don’t want answers like "Its just not right" Or "its not what god wanted" I want someone to tell me how two women or men getting legally married, affects YOUR life, or why you even CARE?!?
