Daughter need tubes put in her ears?

I know many little ones have had this done but im worried. She is a little over 2. Has had ear infections EVERy month for the past year. its getting old. i just want to know how did your child/ren react to having them in after surgery. have they had any infections of the ear after that? any advice would be greatly appreciated
