Scarlett, Olive(yes as in a food... love it so quirky), Stella are great unusual names for girls but don't require you to sit and sound out each and every word to pronounce their name. I need some help with drawing me and my friend's tattoos?

I know a lot of people are gonna say "you two are idiots!" but me and my best friend have known each other for years and a while back we started affectionately calling one another Thumper and Bambi. When she turns 18 she and I are going to go get inked, me getting Thumper on my left bicep and her getting Bambi on her hip. What I need help with is some way to make the tattoos connected. Like when some couples or whatever get tats where one has a lock and the other a key. We obviously can't use the lock and key because 1)we're not dating and 2) we crave originality. Well it's soley the responsibility of the parent to make sure their child exercises and eats right. Not saying it's anyone elses responsibility at all, but there are a lot of ways in which schools and communities can help this "epidemic" and I see it working in my area. My daughter's babysitter is a SAHM and her son is in 1st grade. Every Wednesday him and his classlmates have "Marathon Club" after school. He finished up today, got his t-shirt and pizza voucher. He's been doing it for months and has run miles and miles. It's fun for the kids because it's extra non-learning time with their friends and let me tell ya, these kids are CRAZY for free t-shirts and pizza. lol

How do I potty train my soon to be 19 month old?

My daugher is 18 month and has about three more days before she turns 19 months. I wanted her potty trained by 18 months but I haven'tbeen consistent with the potty training. When I sit her on the potty I use the "potty" myself to try to demonstrate to her what she's supposed to be doing. Then, I would clap so she would know it's a good thing. However, this doesn't work, all she does is get off the potty, squat, and pees on the bathroom floor lol. Her father kneeled down in front of her a few times while she was on the potty and he pretended to be using the bathroom and eventually she passed gas, which was a good sign that she grasped the concept. So, my question is how do I get her to understand what she is supposed to be doing? What are some potty training techniques that you used for your child(ren)?

My oldest daughter was potty trained at 3.5 and my youngest just before 2. I let them decide when they wanted to start using the toilet. If thats what you want to do, keep telling these people thats what your doing or say you cant be bothered yet! thats what I would say just to annoy them.. Its strange these people keep asking you.

Why do some cartoons seem fake now days?

I was watching a little bit of cartoons on Nick Jr today just to see how cartoons have evolved over time since I was a kid growing up in the 90s watching shows like Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Cat Dog, etc, and the cartoons now days suck. There was this show, with a goofy looking robot on it I was watching today, and I think It's called Yo Gabba Gabba. Anyways, the actors that played the characters were just shouting and sounded like they were being sarcastic, and the way the show was made, made it seemed like when the actors were talking, it was like they were talking to someone who has trouble hearing or acting like the person watching the show was deaf, the way the actors shouted out what they were acting. Do you get what I'm saying ! The vibe I get from the actors on cartoons now days seems like they hate what they are doing, and they act like they are drug addicts or something. It seems like the show is geared towards teaching kids how to be sarcastic and an A$$hole, and just seems fake, compared to the shows when I was a kid with good lessons, and plots that are actually worth watching.
